<image:caption>I co-authored the Apartment Therapy Complete & Happy Home book with the sites founder, Maxwell Ryan. We had a goal to make a truly useful book for everyone, no matter their level of interior design, to feel confident in creating and maintaining a home that makes them happy. We scouted and photographed 30 real homes for the book, coast-to-coast, across the USA. We were on set for all shoots to ensure that we would have the right shots to convey the useful ideas found in each home for our readers.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Video at Apartment Therapy was originally tied to the editorial team and was therefore my responsibility; we were so excited to create video content to enhance our posts and communicate in a different way than we could with words and still images! The videos here were all a collaboration with Rebecca Blumhagen, a talented young filmmaker.</image:caption>

<image:caption>As part of the the Test 2 catalogue team, I was asked to focus on the concepts and plan for social media assets to be created during catalogue production. The concepts were based on Get ready for life products, spaces and ideas so they could be relevant and helpful for all markets, not only those with the test catalogue. I enjoyed working with the various interior designers and production teams (as well as Christian Viterius, who was my partner on the project) to get them done creatively and as efficiently as possible, as part of the regular production plan.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Catalogue 19 press kit was my first big solo project at IKEA. It was so interesting to create this communication for editors, journalists, influencers, and coworkers, because I had so enjoyed being the recipient of IKEA press kits for so many years previously. I focused the concept on the complete homes that were developed (for the first time in a long time!) for the catalogue, showing off the smart solutions within them and the interesting insights behind them, with the tagline “Welcome Home(s)!”.</image:caption>

<image:title>Portfolio of Selected Projects - House Tours</image:title>
<image:caption>House Tour slideshows are the heart and soul of Apartment Therapy: a classic post style, familiar on many sites now, that was developed in AT’s early days. I will always be happy that we were able to give real people in their real homes the “decorating magazine” treatment, celebrating what they had created. I evolved the template for the tours over time, as well as developing a process for scouting, producing, publishing and distributing them at a rate of over 500 per year. It was all possible thanks to the large, talented group of freelance writers and photographers, located all around the globe, who I was privileged to work with. While certainly popular content, I always felt that the House Tours were also an important project. Both in terms of a cultural archive and as an opportunity to create understanding and empathy by showing how people really live at this moment in time, and how proud they are of their homes, in all their beautiful diversity.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The press kit for the 2020 Catalogue became something even more fun to concept and create. It collected together images and ideas from several different teams, along with content from Catalogue, to create a big picture view for the press and the markets on all the exciting things happening at IKEA at a particular moment in time.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The January Cure was one of my favorite projects at Apartment Therapy. It was an annual event that I concepted and did all the copy and images for each year . For it, I developed a whole new way to promote, package and deliver content to readers that we were able to map into other successful events.</image:caption>
